Windows Hello PIN - "Something Went Wrong"

I recently had to setup a pin using the "Windows Hello" feature. When following the prompts, I would invariably get an error message saying "Something Went Wrong", without any additional information. It was very infuriating. I went on forums and asked llms, and they all pointed at the ngc folder solution, but it would not solve the issue.

Long story short, it turns out that the email address. used to create the user account was not a Microsoft email address! Windows allowed it during the account creation, but refused to use it to set up a PIN!

The solution was to turn the account into a local account, and everything worked properly. I think they could have done a better job at indicating what the error was.
